As we were waiting for the YARTs bus to drive us to our motel which was located some where below Yosemite Park, I spotted this really hilarious sight. Squirrels are like the more docile and cuter looking substitute for rats here. They are everywhere and eat everything- not only aconrs

San Francisco and Davis
Ok I've only got time to put up these photos! School has started and already! I have exercises and work to do=) Enjoy these photos! I'll be back with more from Yosemite and Monterey!

Took the BART from the airport to the City centre and took a bus to Fort Mason. Luggage was a bother and I wished I had brought less stuff. (However after looking at what other girls packed ESP my roommate, I wish I had brought MUCH MUCH MORE).

Hostelling International- FW. I simply enjoyed my stay here! The subsequent pictures speak for themselves

Bay Bridge. We travelled across this bridge towards Oakland on our way to Sacramento on the Greyhound. (Please do not sit the Greyhound! Amtrak is so much more comfortable and not much more expensive)

Graffti's everywhere. However they really make the drab dirty walls look much much brighter and vibrant. I saw better designs along the way although I didn't stop to take a photo of them.

Chinatown! We visited it just as they were holding the Mid-Autumn Festival Fair and the streets were people-logged. There was absolutely NO room for any type of manovering. Fascinating place that i would have to visit another time.

Streets in SF are AWFULLY steep and the cars all have to park horizonal to the slope. This is one of the steepest street although it doesn't look it. To me, it's as though it has a 45 degrees incline. Tough walking up.

The Crookediest Street? We found this LARGE palm tree growing inside one of the houses at the side, the floors of the house built around it.

Met this guy who was taking care of the laundry shop who kept on trying to discuss linguistics and politics with me- rather he wanted to tell me his opinions on everything. Quite enlightening.

Farmer's Market: Held every Wed, it actually displays a very limited array of products. However, couples turn up in full force every wed (that I've been here) with their children in tow. There'll be a band playing on the field, kids and parents lounging on the field and playground. There's also a fountain like the one in Bugis junction and the kids do the same thing as in S'pore- they get wet and try to stop the water from spurting out.
